Oh, hey. I’m Kate.
I am a coach and licensed therapist helping people create meaningful friendships and find their place in community – even when connection has felt challenging in the past.
If you're struggling with friendship or connection – I get it. I've been there too.
I know what it’s like to feel adrift — isolated, untethered, unsure where you belong.
To feel get rusty. Lose confidence. Daunted and overwhelmed with how to shift it.
Stuck in working on yourself to try to get your confidence back before you even try.
Most of us can agree that making friends as an adult is hard. But it’s harder for some than for others.
I came to this work because it was really hard for me.
I’ve always been more comfortable alone than with other people.
I was never a natural at the people thing, but I always had my friends when I was young. Then things shifted in adulthood and it got harder.
I felt like I lost my footing with others.
I fell into patterns of masking — people-pleasing, contorting, or hiding. I was showing up as someone I thought others wanted instead of as myself.
So, social anxiety, introversion, and a heaping dose of burnout had me leaning way into lockdown in early pandemic days. At first, it was a relief — a break from trying, and from pretending.
But eventually, the avoidance made it harder and harder to connect.
When I felt most isolated, I didn’t just need to try harder, and I didn’t need more advice. I needed something deeper.
I needed a soft landing — a safe space to be real, messy, and human. A place to reconnect with myself, and slowly, with others.
I also needed a path forward. Staying stuck wasn’t an option anymore.
For me, pregnancy became my turning point. I decided: Enough. I couldn’t keep doing it the same way.
So I got support. I took small steps every day, and I began to find my way.
I started challenging my thinking, unraveling old stories, and making new choices — ones that sparked connection, empowerment, freedom, and possibility.
And I know the power of being in a space with others who get it — a space where you’re not alone, and where you can find your way back to yourself, and back into connection.
This is that space.
You get to bring your full self.
You get to go at your own pace.
You get to grow in good company.I help thoughtful, socially stuck millennials in their 30s and 40s move past avoidance and into the friendships and community they’ve been craving.
